Former camp resident Marilyn Shanley, (Jenner) returned to the village for
a few days in June. As a pupil of the former Kidderminster Girls High School,
she came to meet some of her old school friends at a reunion. Wolverley Camp
were pleased that Marilyn was able to tell us a few more of her childhood memories.

Wolverley Camp were pleased to welcome Barbara Harris PhD R.N., from Syracuse
in America. Over the past couple of years Barbara has become a good friend
and has proved an invaluable source of information in my research of the former
U.S. Army’s 52nd General Hospital. During her visit Barbara, spent a few
days with us here in Wolverley where she enjoyed seeing the former camp and the
village. She also enjoyed visiting a number of nearby places that she has either
read about or had been told about by her medical colleagues back in Syracuse.
