What a pleasure it was to see Paul Mackowski, the son of former Polish soldier,
Stefan Mackowski who served at Wolverley Camp. Paul made the trip over from
America, spending the first few days in London searching for information about
his father. After making the journey up from London, he spent a few days visiting
relations in the village and talking to us at "wolverleycamp".
We would like to thank Paul for all the help he has given "wolverleycamp" and all the information he has shared with us about his father. We certainly hope that this new friendship will help us both to find more of the facts about Paul’s father and "wolverleycamp".
Paul Mackowski, and Mike Webster seen with the staff of the "The Queens Head". Paul recently visited Wolverley in search of more information about his father Stefan’s stay at Wolverley Camp. |

"Wolverleycamp" Exhibition. It’s hard to believe that a month has passed since we were putting the final touches to the exhibition for Kidderminster library. We would like to say a big "Thank You" to everyone who took the time to visit the library and take an interest in "wolverleycamp". We would also like to say a special "Thank You" to all those people who wrote their comments in the "Guest Book". I am looking forward to making contact with many of those people and listening to their memories. |
