Memorial Event - Thanks are extended to the following people for all their help and support

My Wife Lynn, my family, Mark and Leanne, Karen, Brian, Beth and Jo.

Our very special friend, Barbara Harris from Syracuse, who did so much to raise  funds in America, helping to make the memorial possible. Thanks also to her for providing so many of the table decorations in the memorial hall, and simply being  with us during this memorable week-end.

Special thanks to the four American Air Force Personnel who joined us for the  occasion from RAF Mildenhall.

Standard Bearers and members of the ex-servicemen’s organisations who gave their support and helped to make the parade such a special occasion.

Bewdley Scout and Guide Band Special thanks to Mark Woodward for his help in arranging their participation at  the last minute. Also for his help to ensure the safety of those taking part in the  parade.

Those people who were invited to take part in the parade,  Dr. and Mrs. Richard Taylor, Wyre Forest M.P., Colonel Ray Watters, representing the American Ambassador, The Mayor of Kidderminster, Councillor Marcus Hart, The vice Chairman of Wolverley and Cookley Parish Council, Jo Cox, Wolverley and Cookley Parish Councillors. Former British employees, Red Cross Volunteers, and those who simply had  memories of those who served at the 52nd.

To June Parkes and the ladies of the choir whose singing and entertainment in the  Memorial Hall was enjoyed by so many of those of us who were there. Another special part of the day.
